20 years of the Long Night of Munich Museums – if that’s not a reason for celebration!
It is the unique variety at the unusual hour that thrills visitors over and over again every year: more than 90 museums, collections, galleries, churches, architectural jewels and historic locations invite the public to take a night and take a walk through art, culture, natural sciences and technology. In addition to the exhibitions, there are once again all sorts of colorful and appealing secondary programs that will not only enable visitors to experience an extraordinary Long Night, they will also inspire them for many museum visits to come!
The “Kombiticket” costs 15 Euros and grants admission to all venues. It is also valid for transit on the MVG shuttle buses as well as throughout MVV Munich transit network.
Children’s program in the afternoon
So that children don’t miss out on anything either, they can immerse themselves too in Munich's landscape of museums – and do so a bit earlier: in the afternoon from 2 to 6 pm. Many museums and art institutions are offering a broad range of guided tours and interactive offerings – also covering a broad swath of history and artforms.
